Spaghetti Sauce

 

Ingredients:
2- 28 ounce large cans tomato sauce
1- 4 ounce can of tomato paste
½ tsp salt
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp basil
½ tsp ground ginger
¼ tsp black pepper
Chunky Spaghetti Sauce :
Add ½ cup red pepper diced
½ cup green bell pepper diced
1 can 16 ounces diced tomatoes drained
Optional: add ¼ diced onion, and ½ cup mushrooms cooked and sliced.
Optional: Substitute 2 cloves minced garlic for garlic powder and handful of fresh basil and oregano for dried spices

Directions:
In a medium pot add all ingredients. Allow to slightly come to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer on low for 30 minutes.

Serve with pastas, chicken parmesan or veal parmesan or any Italian Dish of your preference.
