Pear Salad

 

 

 

Ingredients:
¼ head of Iceburg lettuce washed and chopped
¼ cup of shredded carrots or julienned
1 green pear cut up julienned
1/3 cup bleu cheese crumbles
½ cup of whole plain walnuts
Directions:
Wash and chop lettuce. Sit on a paper towel and place in refrigerator to allow to crisp. Cut washed carrots julienne. Then remove skin from the pear and cut washed pear julienne. When lettuce is crisp, place in a serving bowl. Then layer with carrots, pear, bleu cheese and top with walnuts. This salad can be served with a sweet balsamic dressing or other sweet dressing.
