Ribs

 

Ingredients:
1 slab of St Louis style ribs
Rib Rub
Sauce:
2 tbsp. tomato paste
½ cup Olive oil
1/3 cup Apple cider vinegar
1 tbsp. Honey
¼ cup dark brown sugar
1 tsp dry mustard
1 tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
Directions for Sauce:
Place all ingredients into a small sauce pan. Heat on high until the sauce comes to a low boil. Stir frequently, Reduce heat to a low simmer and continue to cook for about 15 minutes. Continue to stir frequently.
Directions for Ribs:
Rub with the Rib Rub on both sides. Preheat the oven to 300*F. Place ribs in the oven and cook for 2 hours covered in aluminum foil on a baking sheet, Increase the heat to 375*F. Remove the ribs from the foil and apply Rib sauce. Cook for fifteen minutes and flip ribs. Place sauce to cover the other side of the ribs and return to the oven for another 15 minutes. Remove from the oven and flip ribs.
Brush the remaining sauce over the ribs. Place on low broil with oven slightly open and continue to cook for 8-10 minutes. Remove and serve.
