Ingredients:
I- 16 ounce package long grain white rice or Yellow Saffron rice
1 ¼ tsp salt
½ cup bell pepper finely diced
½ cup red pepper finely diced
3 tbsp. Sofrita
1 tsp sugar
Directions:
In a large pot, cook rice according to package directions. Add 1 tsp salt and 1 tsp sugar to the rice with water. Make sure rice is fluffy when cooked completely. Lower temperature to low, add sofrito sauce and peppers and ¼ tsp salt. Allow peppers to simmer with the sauce for 10 minutes. Serve.
