Ingredients:
1 cup light corn syrup
1 cup sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups pecan pieces
1 cup dark chocolate morsels
4 eggs
1 large pie crust, (uncooked)
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350*F. In a large mixing bowl, add sugar and eggs. Mix well with a whisk. Add corn syrup and vanilla, mix well. Mix in melted butter until all ingredients have been incorporated. Stir in pecan pieces and chocolate morsels. Place all the ingredients in the pie crust. Cover outside edges of pie crust with aluminum foil to prevent burning. Place the pie in the oven for 50-60 minutes. Remove and let cool for 1-2 hours. If not serving immediately, cover the pie with plastic wrap and place in the refrigerator.
