Pie Crust

Ingredients:
2 cups All Purpose Flour
1 stick unsalted butter softened
1 cup Buttermilk
1 tsp ground Cinnamon(optional)
½ tsp salt
1 tsp Baking Soda
¼ cup melted butter

2 Tbsp. granulated sugar

NOTES: If using regular milk, add another 1/2 cup of All Purpose Flour.

Directions:
In a large mixing bowl, add flour, salt, baking powder, cinnamon and softened butter. With a bread kneader, mix the butter and all ingredients well. When completed, the mixture should form small pieces. Then add Buttermilk and continue to mix with the bread kneader. Form into a ball and let rest for 30 minutes. Add dry flour to a clean flat surface. Place the dough on the flour. Add more flour to coat the outside of the dough ball. Roll to 1/8” thickness. Place the dough in a greased pie dish. Form the dough and pinch around sides of pie pan. Remove any remaining dough by cutting the edges carefully. Brush melted butter onto the crust. Using a fork, poke a few holes into the bottom and sides of the crust. Bake in the oven at 325*F for 15-20 minutes or until dough is completely cooked.
