Ingredients:
4 medium to large granny smith apples (peeled and diced)
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp brown sugar
2 tbsp. granulated sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
Flour Mixture:
1/3 cup flour
¼ tsp cinnamon
2 tbsp. butter cut up
1/8 cup plain oats uncooked
Directions:
In a mixing bowl add flour, ¼ tsp cinnamon, oats and butter. Mash together with a fork until blended. Set aside. In a large skillet, place apples and lemon juice and allow to heat. Once heated, keep temperature at medium and add sugars and cinnamon. Continue to cook until apples are tender. Once apples are cooked, add flour mixture. This will thicken the cobbler. Mix and serve with ice cream.
