Ingredients:
1 Pie crust uncooked
5 medium green tart apples
½ Lemon squeezed
½ stick unsalted butter
1 cup dark brown sugar
1 tsp ground Cinnamon
½ tsp salt
Directions:
Peel skin and cut apples into slices. Place apples into a large mixing bowl. Squeeze lemon juice over the apples and stir to coat. In a small pot, melt butter and brown sugar together. Once they have mixed well, add cinnamon and salt and stir. Pour the butter sugar mixture over the apples and stir to coat thoroughly.
Add the ingredients to an uncooked pie crust. Place in the oven at 350*F for 45 minutes to 1 hour or until crust and apples are cooked through. Serve.
