This recipe is my version of a Shepherd’s Pie.

Ingredients:
8 cups of cooked mashed potatoes
1 ½ pound of ground chuck (cook with seasonings below)
½ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 can cream of mushroom
2 cups frozen corn
2 cups frozen green beans
1 ½ cups French Fried Onions
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions:
Cook mashed potatoes, corn and green beans separately (you can use leftovers)
Brown ground beef with seasonings. Add salt and pepper to taste. Drain any fat.
Add 4 cups mashed potatoes to bottom of casserole dish. Mix corn, green beans, cooked ground chuck, and cream of mushroom together and place on top of the potatoes in the casserole dish. Add the remaining mashed potatoes. Sprinkle French Fried onions on top.
Bake at 375* F for about 30 minutes.
