Beef Ribs with Sweet Heat

Beef Ribs served with Lemon Risotto

 

Ingredients:
1.5 pound short beef ribs
1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar
1 cup Orange Juice – no pulp
1 tsp Cayenne Pepper
½ cup Soy Sauce – less sodium
1 cup Asian Sesame Sauce
2 tbsp. garlic powder
Directions:
Place all ingredients in a mixing bowl and allow steak strips to marinate for 30 minutes. In a large skillet add all ingredients (except Steak) and bring to a boil. Once boiling, add steak and turn heat to a simmer. Allow to cook for about 10-20 minutes (depending on the size of the ribs). Some of the liquid should evaporate out and incorporate into the steak. Remove from remaining juices and serve when done. Pairs well with Lemon Risotto or Shrimp salad and toast points.
