SPRING HAS SPRUNG!!!

My favorite time of the year is Spring! The flowers are blooming. The snow and cold weather will not be coming back for awhile.  The days allow for more fun in the sun.

While I have many hobbies that I enjoy, my favorite hobby next to cooking is Gardening!!

My first springtime favorite bloom is the Jane Magnolia.  These beautiful purple blooms are spectacular.   In the gardens, Hyacinths and Daffodils are blooming.  Soon, more flowers like Tulips and Iris’ will be in full bloom. Such a heart warming site for me to see.

While spending more time in the sunshine with my gardening, cooking leans towards quick and easy recipes.   All of which are enjoyable after a long day in the sun.

Try any one of my casseroles.  These dishes can be prepared a day ahead and placed in the refrigerator covered.  After a long day in the sun, just pop one in the oven for a no mess and no fuss dinner.

Basketball games are in season too.  Appetizers and game day food like wings and meatballs are a slam dunk while watching the games with friends.  This part of my weekly feature was inspired by DARRELL at my favorite home and garden improvement store.
